This week's face is extremely special. Last Sunday, I celebrated my mom's 50th birthday with our family and recognized just how remarkable Amy Mangan really is. The festivities lasted a week, of course, but leave it to "Mama Mangz" to host a dance party Saturday night and dance her way into the fabulous fifties. Mom, you are more than a face for this project. You are undoubtedly the model of what I hope to be when I'm fifty, telling my future children how Madonna never goes out of style and the best stress reliever is a good night of dance. Thank you for making an impression of pure grace and kindness in all that you do, not to mention your quick wit that leaves me in tears. I love you most ardently, and I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for you.
My face this week is the beautiful Blaine Baxley, a girl that I consider my little sister and my sunshine. I was able to spend the entire day with Blaine and she is a face that reminds you how special some people truly are; no matter what is thrown Blaine's way, she never fails to be an incredible person (not to mention an amazing fashionista). Thank you, Blaine, for showing me how to love the little things and to love fantastic people like you. |
